Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, and phone number (optional) when you create an account. When you create or interact with invitations, we collect event details, guest lists, RSVPs, wishes, and memories (photos). We also collect device information and crash reports (via Firebase Crashlytics) to improve app stability, and anonymous usage analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and maintain the invitation service, send notifications about RSVPs, wishes, and memories on your events, enable guests to RSVP, share memories, and send wishes, improve app performance and fix crashes, and communicate important updates about the service. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Guest Data & Memories

When guests RSVP, they provide their name, attendance status, meal preference, and guest count. Guests may also upload photos as memories and post wishes. Photos uploaded as memories are visible to the event host and other guests after host approval. The event host can delete any memory. This data is accessible to you as the event organizer.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in these cases: event details you publish are visible to anyone with the invitation link; we use Cloudinary for image hosting and Render for backend hosting; Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics (Google) for app improvement; and if required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We use HTTPS encryption for all data transmission and JWT-based authentication to protect your account. We implement industry-standard security measures, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Invitation data is retained for 12 months after the event date. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access your personal data through the app's Profile section, update or correct your information at any time, delete your account and associated data by contacting us, and export your guest/RSVP data via CSV export.

8. Cookies & Analytics

On the web, we use cookies to maintain your login session and remember your preferences. On mobile, we use Firebase Analytics for anonymous usage data and Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or trackers.

9. Children's Privacy

eNyota is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
