2How We Use Cookies
We keep our use of cookies minimal and use them mainly to run the service, not to track you across the web. Specifically, we use cookies and local storage to:
- Keep you signed in to your account between visits
- Remember your theme (light/dark) and other display preferences
- Remember an RSVP you already submitted so you can edit it
- Understand anonymous, aggregated usage so we can improve the product
We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.
3Types of Cookies We Use
- Strictly necessary — required for core functions like authentication and security (for example, storing your login session token). The site cannot work properly without these.
- Preferences — remember choices such as your selected theme or language so your experience is consistent.
- Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the site, in aggregate and anonymised form, so we can improve it.
4Third-Party Services
Some cookies may be set by trusted providers we rely on to deliver the service:
- Analytics — anonymous usage measurement to improve the app
- Hosting & media — our hosting and image providers (e.g. Cloudinary) may set technical cookies needed to serve content securely
These providers process data under their own privacy terms. We do not permit them to use your data for advertising.

You are in control of cookies. Most browsers let you view, block or delete cookies through their settings. You can also browse in private/incognito mode.
Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in or using key parts of eNyota. Preference and analytics cookies can be blocked without breaking core functionality.
6Mobile App
Our Android app does not use website cookies. Instead it uses secure on-device storage for your session and preferences, and Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics for anonymous usage and crash reporting. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
